Air New Zealand has announced it will suspend its Auckland-Shanghai service from February 9 until March 29.

The airline says the move is down to crew logistics and also a drop in bookings as a result of the coronavirus.

“Our teams are currently putting in place alternative travel options for customers impacted by the suspension and they will be contacted directly over the coming week,” chief operational integrity and standards officer, captain David Morgan said.
